Bubble
Created during my time at BCIT’s New Media Design and Web Development Program, Bubble explores themes of isolation, growth, and personal boundaries. This layered illustration combines vibrant characters, symbolic elements like fish and flowers, and custom strokes to reflect a balance between solitude and connection.

Concept
The illustration reflects life during the Pandemic, highlighting the feel of isolation and self-reflection while embracing personal growth. The bubble motif symbolizes boundaries and the connection between life forms.
Techniques
Layering elements for depth and dimension.
Custom strokes to create unique forms.
Integration of vibrant colours (orange and blue) to symbolize contrast and harmony.
Tools Used
Pencil, paper, scanner, Adobe illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
Reflection
This project was an opportunity to challenge my knowledge and skills, pushing me to experiment with new techniques. Inspired by a year of isolation during the Pandemic, Bubble represents both personal limitations and the resilience to growth within them.
